The subscription for CAT card membership is Rs. 150/-. 2. CAT card is valid for one year from the date of issue. 3. (a) In ordinary services, concessional fare will be arrived before reducing 5 kms. ( One fare stage) if the journey is upto 95 kms and 10 kms., ( Two fare stages) for journeys of 100 kms., and above on the normal fare chargeable. (b) In Gramani services concessional fare will be arrived at next available lower denomination upto 16 kms (8th stage) and be lowering of two denominations from 18 kms. (9 the stage) onwards. 4. Concessional fare arrived after 10% discount is to be rounded off to lower multiple of rupee upto 0.50 paise and to be highlighted multiple of a rupee from 0.51 paise and above for Express, Luxuries, Hi-Tech, AC & AC Sleeper services. 5. CAT card is valid on all types of mofussil services viz., Gramani, Ordinary, Express, Luxury, Deluxe/ Hi-Tech, Ac & Ac sleeper coaches, including Inter-state service (Except City & Sub-urban services). 6. Card has to be produced to service conductors/Advance and current booking counters for availing 10 % discount and to checking officials on demand. 7. Card holders are not eligible for any other type of concession like RJT, TREATS, PHC concession, Journalists concession etc. 8. Persons in the age group 5 to 70 years only are eligible to become a card holder. 9. Loss of card entails purchase of fresh card. 10. Card is not transferable. 11. Rs. 1.00 lakh "Additional Compensation" will be paid in the event of death of a CAT card holder due to the injuries sustained in any accident to the vehicle in which the CAT card holder is travelling in APSRTC buses and buses under hire scheme with APSRTC. This "Additional Compensation" will be paid after complying with the formalities as mentioned below : (i) Police F.I.R (ii) Post Mortem Report (iii) Death Certificate issued by VAO/EO of Panchayat/MRO, Registrar of Births and Deaths etc. (iv) Nominated Legal heirs/Family Members declaration certificate ( as stated in CAT application form) containing the list of all eligible members issued by MRO/RDO, collector/Court. (v) Willingness letter (in triplicate) (vi) Money Receipt ( in triplicate) (vii) Discharge voucher on a non-judicial stamp paper etc.
