OILPALM Brief Note on Oilpalm: Oil palm is cultivated in the following 11 districts of Andhra Pradesh Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, E.Godavari, W.Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasham, Nellore, Chittoor, Khammam. The following subsidies are provided for Oilpalm Plant Material Subsidy: The oil Palm seeding s are being supplied on 75% subsidy not exceeding Rs. 5400/- per hect to all categories of farmers. The cost of oil palm seedlings is Rs.55/- per each imported seeding and Rs. 50/- per each Indigenous seeding. Cultivation subsidy: The cultivation subsidy is provided @ Rs.15,500/- per hec. for the first four years in the shape of fertilizers. The year wise subsidy details are as given below. 1st Year Rs.4,600 2nd year Rs.3,300 3rd Year Rs.3,500 4th Year Rs.4,100 - - - - - - - - Total Rs. 15,500 - - - - - - - - Subsidy for Drip irrigation for Oil palm: Under drip irrigation the following subsidies are provided. 1) 50% of the total cost (or) Rs.7,400/- per hect. Whichever is less for SC/ST/Women/SF/MF 2) 35% of the total cost (or) 5,200/- per hect which ever is less for other farmers. The assistance for Oilpalm will be provided for maximum of 4 hect. Per beneficiary under Drip irrigation system. For availing the above subsidies the farmers have to submit the applications to the district ADH's concerned in the following formats. 1.
