APPLICATION FOR LICENCE TO ERECT OR RE-ERECT HEDGES ON MUNICIPAL LAND To Executive Engineer Horticulture, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. Sir, I may kindly be granted a licence under bye-law 4 of the Chandigarh (Control and Regulation of Hedges and Fences) Bye-Laws, 1971, for erecting /re-erecting hedges on Municipal land adjoining my residential building. The requisite particulars are given below :- (1) Name of the applicant (2) Particulars of premises House No. / Sector (3) Area Required to be maintained ___________Sq.ft (4) Period for which licence is required. ___________Year Note:- The following documents are attached with the application :- (i) a site plan showing the boundaries of the plot adjacent to and in front of which the hedge is intended to be erected or re-erected : and the width of the adjoining streets ; (ii) Detailed drawings of the area proposed to be enclosed by the hedge alongwith its dimensions, etc. ; 2. I undertake to abide by the Chandigarh(Control and Regulation of Hedge and Fences) Bye-laws 1971, as amended from time to time. 3. I Solemnly affirm and declare that the particulars furnished above are correct . I also understand that in case of violation of the Hedges/Fences Bye-Laws the licence is liable to be cancelled by the Municipal Corporation. 4. i ) Licence fee is Rs.25/- Per 100 Sq.ft per year. ii) The maximum period for approval will be limited to 3 years.
