Registration under Edible Oils Packaging (Regulation) Order, 1998 As per Edible Oils Packaging (Regulation) Order, 1998, on and from 15.12.1998, no person shall carry on business of a packer of edible oils except under a certificate of registration granted to him under Edible Oils Packaging (Regulation) Order, 1998. Fees A registration fee of Rs. 5000.00 is payable at the time of application, in the form of a demand draft only from a nationalised bank payable to the Commissioner, Food and Supplies, Delhi at New Delhi. In case of rejection of an application, the said demand draft for Registration fee of Rs. 5000.00 only shall be refunded to the person concerned. Laboratory No person shall be eligible for grant of certificate of registration under this order unless he has his own laboratory facilities and has appointed in that laboratory at least one chemist having Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of subjects or has made any other arrangement of a common laboratory for such purpose to the satisfaction of the registering authority for testing of samples Required Documents 1.
