Place : Date : 3 :4: General Instructions to Candidates 1. Strict silence should be maintained in the Examination Hall. 2. Candidates should be in their seats at least 5 minutes before commencement of the examination. 3. Candidates who are late by more than 30 minutes from the time of commencement of examination will not be admitted for the examination. 4. Candidates suffering from infectious diseases of any kind will not be admitted for the Examination. 5. On each day of the Examination candidates should bring with them the admission ticket in the exami­nation hall for verification by the authorities. 6. Candidates are forbidden from writing anything upon the admission ticket and question papers. (They Should strictly follow the instructions given on the facing sheet of the answer book supplied in the examination hall.) 7& 8. Candidates should write their register numbers very distinctly in the space printed for the purpose on the outer cover of the answer books. Candidates should not write their Register Number or any other iden­tification marks on the drawing sheets or inner pages or anywhere else of the answer books. Violation of this rule will lead to the confiscation of the answer books and the result of such candidates will not be published. 9. No candidates will be allowed to leave the examination hall till the expiry of 30 minutes from commence­ment of examination. Candidates thus leaving the examination hall will not be permitted to re-enter the hall. 10. They are not allowed to borrow any kind of appliances like Mathematical instruments, Tables, Pencils, etc. from near by candidates. 11. The use of mathematical and physical tables are permitted if such tables have not been supplied by the department. 12. If the main answer book is found insufficient additional sheets will be supplied on request. The additional sheets should be securely fastened to the answer book. Paper must no be detached from the answer book. Rough work if any should be done on the answer book itself. 13. Any candidates who commits or attempts to commit malpractice in the Examination will be allowed to write during the remaining part of the time allotted for the paper in a different answer book supplied to him and to attend the examination on subsequent days also provided he signs a declaration in the pre­scribed from. If he refuses to sign the declaration he will be expelled forthwith and will not be allowed to write Examination on subsequent days and to attend the Practical Examination. Candidates are warned that they should not take into the Examination Hall any written or Printed matter, Note book etc. Copy­ing from another candidate or giving convenience to another candidate for copying or talking to another candidate will be treated as malpractice. Even possession of written or printed matter thus taken into the Examination Hall will also be treated as malpractice. If any candidate behaves in any unruly manner either in the Examination Hall or in the premises of the Institution where the Examination is conducted he will be expelled from the Examination by the Chief Superintendent. Any candidate whose name is reported from the Examination Centre either for malpractice or for unruly behaviour will further be de­barred from appearing for subsequent Examinations for specified number of chances as decided later. 14. Candidates appearing for the Examination will be deemed to have given an undertaking that they will abide by all the rules now in force or those to be brought into effect hereafter in respect of the Examina­tion. 15. Practical Test will be conducted before or after the written Examination. Candidates should contact the Heads of the Institution and ascertain the exact date and time of the Practical Test.
