General Information The M. Tech Programme is intended to give enough specialisation in Technology Management by covering areas like Technology Forecasting and Assessment as well as Strategic Management, Expert System etc. The Department is located in the first floor of the Computer Block in the Senate Hall Campus of the University at Palayam. 2. Eligibility for Admission A B. Tech degree or equivalent in any branch of engineering with at least 55% marks. 3. Mode of Selection Admission is based on the GATE score of the candidates. In the absence of sufficient GATE qualified candidates, the admission will be based on an entrance test of 90 minutes duration conducted by the University. Out of fifteen seats five seats are reserved for candidates working in industry and other research organisations who should be sponsored by their respective organisations. The reservation of SC/ST and other categories will be as per University rules. 4. Duration of the Programme The Programme shall spread over four semesters (2 years). 5. How to apply Application can obtained from the Head of the Department of Futures Studies by producing a DD for Rs. 300/- (including registration fee) from SBT/SBI/District Co-operative Bank drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala, OR a University chalan for Rs. 300/-.
